This is what the back section of the store looked like at 5:30pm Saturday evening.
The crew began work on Sunday morning at 6:30am, it's amazing how quickly 7 guys can demolish, frame, drywall, & install electrical outlets.
They tried their best to keep the mess down.
The demolition is complete and the wall is constructed.
The shop already looks larger & we haven't even started the organization of the shop.
Looking from check-out counter into classroom.
Looking out of the classroom into the retail area.
Tomorrow the drywall gets taped & mudded. Then the texturizing and paint.

I'm having a bit of trouble handling the bolts on the floor & the table loaded with baskets of patterns and Fat Quarters. It's actually pretty tidy for having shelves unloaded & bolts on the floor. I think the Lord is teaching me to be patient. I didn't ask for it but I'm having to learn.
The shop already looks larger & we haven't even started the organization of fabric. The new classroom space & staff work area will be fantastic. Lots of room & super efficient.
I'll post more pictures in the next couple days.
Keep checking back to see the progress.
We are open for business during this renovation, so if you need supplies or just want a sneak peak at the shop come on in.
