New Arrivals & Fond Farewells

In my earlier post, I forgot to mention that last week was the first meeting of the Applique' Club. This club is open to anyone who enjoys hand applique'. The group meets to sew, socialize, and share. You can come as often as you like. The group will meet the 4th Friday of the month from 10am - 12pm. Bring a project to work on, meet some fellow quilters and best of all the club is FREE.

Our UPS drivers had another busy week.
We received the JUMBO 1 3/8" wide Ric Rac in White, Aqua, & Chocolate Brown. The Pink I have ordered should be arriving shortly.
New project storage boxes in fun spring colors of pink and purple. These boxes are 12" x 12", great for keeping your quilt project/blocks organized.
Three new patterns from Pam's Piece by Piece arrived today. We have 3 of her quilts displayed in the shop. These patterns are wonderful for using fabric from your Fine Fabric Collection (FFC) aka stash.

For those of you doing the Applique Block of the Month from Bunny Hill, you will be glad to hear. 22 bolts of Aviary by 3 Sisters from Moda arrived today. It's loaded in the computer & on the shelf. These beautiful pastel fabrics won't last long, make sure you get what you need to complete those beautiful applique' blocks.

Two new books arrived today:

Big Blocks Easy Quilts;
Sixteen fabulous quilts with “layer cake” 10” x 10” squares.
This is a good book for any level of quilter.

We say farewell to one of our staff; Denise. She has left early this year to prepare her new home in Pinetop. We will miss having her in the shop on Mondays, but wish her and her spouse a "relaxing summer". Once all the boxes are unpacked.

For all of the winter residents that are heading North, we wish you safe travel, a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you "next season".
Thanks to all for sharing your passion, creativity and for your patronage.
I wonder what you will have planned for next season....
