Hand Applique' Club aka Only By Hand

A Quilter's Oasis Hand Applique' Club is in full swing and while we're having fun, we're missing YOU. We have members who have a variety of skills and are anxious to share, inspire, and be inspired by you. Do you enjoy hand applique'? Are you sitting at home in your comfy chair stitching alone? Please pack up you project(s) and join us - We're anxious to meet you.
Best of all the club is FREE!

Let me tell you about what you've missed. Jane is working on a drop dead gorgeous project using Batiks, the pattern is sea turtles. Deana, brand new to hand applique' is enjoying learning while working on large posies. Karen is working on "Little Brown Bird" and brought her beautiful Baltimore Album quilt and embroidered Red-work blocks to "share & inspire". Darlene is working on a Bunny Hill Design "Tisket a Tasket", Lorene is working on hand projects from Tisket a Tasket and Be Attitudes in applique' to 12 Days of Christmas bell-pull in embroidery. We hope she will bring her Be Attitudes (Art to Heart) project to the next meeting to "show & inspire". Cindy is working on a beautiful Victorian heart applique' block of the month.

The club in not limited to hand applique', Carol brought a stunning Winding Ways project that she is piecing entirely by hand. So if you are doing any project that involves handwork then this is the club for you!

So, leave your machine at home, pack up your needle, thread and current hand project and join us for stitching, sharing and socializing.
We meet twice a month so mark your calendars for August meetings.
Next meetings: Friday August 14th and 28th 10am - 12pm
See you then! We look forward to meeting you.
